Public Prayer and Witness to Stand with Migrants

August 12, 2026

Bishop Ralph B. O’Donnell warmly invites the faithful and all those who wish to come together in prayerful solidarity and support for migrants, immigrants, and refugees. This event is intended to be a peaceful and prayerful gathering that raises awareness of the Church’s teaching on immigration and expresses compassion, hope, and solidarity with our migrant brothers and sisters.

The event will be on Saturday, August 15, at the Missouri State Capitol Rotunda in Jefferson City. The public prayer will start at 10 a.m., and will be preceded by a rosary and procession from St. Peter Church to the Capitol at 9 a.m. Feel free to join one or both parts of the event. Click here for more information.
