The annual MidWest March for Life will be held at the Missouri State Capitol on Thursday, April 30, 2026. The theme for this year is “To honor and glorify Jesus Christ and defend innocent life.”
Activities begin at 8:00 am with a prayer walk in the capitol, followed by the praying of the rosary and Divine Mercy and May Crowning on the north lawn. The opening ceremony will be at 9:30 am on the south capitol steps. Speakers include Reagan Barklage of Student for Life America; Dr. Sarah Florence of Her Health, Her Future; Linda Friere of Sidewalk Advocates for Life; and Mayra Rodriguez, a pro-life speaker and Planned Parenthood whistleblower.
Bishop James V. Johnston of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph will be the main celebrant of the Mass at 1:30 pm at the Proto-Cathedral of St. Peter.
