MCC Welcomes Birthright

May 08, 2026

What was once considered a distant dream has now become a reality. As Birthright of Mid-Missouri outgrew its previous location and space became available in the lower level of the Missouri Catholic Conference, the organization found a new home.

“This move will allow us to better serve our clients, offering a more central location,” said Elizabeth Siebeneck, who recently became Birthright of Mid-Missouri’s new director. After extensive renovations were completed at the end of 2025, Birthright moved into the downstairs office in January, where they now assist women in a safer and more welcoming environment. The downstairs office also provides the needed space to store diapers and other items in one central location.

Birthright of Mid-Missouri is an affiliate of Birthright International and provides assistance to women facing unplanned pregnancies and to those with young children. Along with providing love and support, Birthright helps mothers with essentials such as pregnancy testing, medical, housing, and counseling referrals, as well as maternity and baby items. All services are made possible through donations, volunteers, and partnerships from Mid-Missouri residents who care deeply about supporting families.

Jamie Morris, the MCC’s executive director and general counsel, said he hopes the new space helps Birthright offer an even safer, more functional, and more welcoming environment for mothers and their children. “I’m so happy to have Birthright in our building,” he said. “While I’m proud of our pro-life work upstairs, the more important and culture-transforming work is quietly being done every day downstairs by these amazing volunteers.”
