Wars in Ukraine and Gaza, a new nuclear arms race, and other developments are leading to talk of “A New World Disorder.” Join the Newman Parish (Columbia) for an evening of dialogue and prayer as they explore the current state of the Catholic debate on just war, nonviolence, peacebuilding – teachings that shape how we discern right action, pursue just resolutions to conflict, and seek peace rooted in human dignity.
Dr. Gerard Powers, Director of Catholic Peacebuilding Studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, Keough School of Global Affairs, University of Notre Dame, will lead this important conversation on Wednesday, November 5, from 6:30–8:00 PM at the Newman Parish.
