CJM is Expanding with 20 New Doors in St. Louis County

October 1, 2026
For over four decades, the Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM) has offered critical support to individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community. Now, for the first time, CJM is expanding its housing beyond St. Louis City.

CJM has officially purchased a 20-unit apartment complex in North St. Louis County, creating 20 new opportunities for safe, stable housing for people rebuilding their lives after incarceration.

The Annual Catholic Appeal of the Archdiocese of St. Louis made this milestone possible through generous support. In a release, CJM said, “This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter that allows us to reach more people, offer our clients greater choice, and continue growing the availability of low-barrier housing across the St. Louis region.”
