Monday, December 2 marked the first day Missouri legislators could file bills for the 2025 legislative session. Legislators wasted no time, filing over 900 bills in the first days of pre-filing. This number represents nearly one-fourth of all the bills filed in 2024. The MCC staff will be reviewing and tracking legislation of interest and will be reporting on those bills in the coming weeks. Our 2025 public policy priorities will be finalized and published in mid-January, but for now, you can look at the public policy priorities from 2024 on our website.
