The primary elections in Missouri will be held next week on Tuesday, August 6th. To find your polling place, you can visit the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office website.
In addition to primary races, Missouri voters will vote on two proposed constitutional amendments on Tuesday, including a measure designed to help address the availability and affordability of quality childcare for working families.
Amendment 1 would provide a property tax exemption for places where individuals, corporations, organizations, and associations provide childcare outside of the child’s home. The MCC, along with pro-life groups in the state, has testified in favor of this tax credit.
We encourage our network members to inform themselves on this important issue and to vote in support of Amendment 1 on August 6th.
