U.S. Bishops Offer Video Series Highlighting the Importance of Sacred Art

In response to recent acts of vandalism against churches, acts which have prompted the bishops to request increased funding from Congress for security, the U.S. Bishops' Conference has released a series of videos emphasizing the significance of sacred art as a means of drawing people towards the faith and towards God. The series "Beauty Heals" invites Catholics to learn about works of devotional art significant to local churches and how they inspire Catholics to live beautifully.
