
Archbishop Jose Gomez, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), along with Bishop David Malloy, chairman of the USCCB's Committee on International Justice and Peace, called for all parties to pursue peace and dialogue in the Middle East after tensions in the area were heightened following missile attacks on Iranian General Soleimani and on American military bases in Iraq.
