Time Draws Near for Condemned Man

Kevin Johnson

Have you called the governor requesting clemency for Kevin Johnson, who is to be executed on November 29? Kevin was convicted of killing Kirkwood Police Sgt. William McEntee in 2005 when he was 19 years old. Kevin had a mental health history of hearing voices and attempted suicide. He also experienced severe physical and sexual abuse and neglect during his childhood. His attorneys put together this video to tell people how Kevin impacted their lives.

The Catholic Church opposes the death penalty because it disregards the sanctity and dignity of human life. You can call Governor Mike Parson at (573)751-3222 or you can email him and ask for clemency.
