Satanic Temple Reaches End of Line in Effort to Upend Pro-life Laws in Missouri

The Satanic Temple has reached the end of the line in its legal challenge to Missouri's pro-life laws.  Judy Doe, a member of the Satanic temple, filed suit several years ago challenging Missouri laws which state that life begins at conception and which requires that she wait 72 hours before having her abortion performed.  Her claims were dismissed in the lower courts, and she has now exhausted her appeals to the 8th Circuit federal court of appeals.  The MCC is grateful to Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, a graduate of DeSmet High School in St. Louis, for his strong defense of Missouri law.
