On Tuesday, hundreds of pro-life Missourians gathered at the State Capitol for the Missouri Right to Life's annual lobby day to advocate for the passage of pro-life legislation. The highlight of the day was a rally featuring speeches by Governor Mike Parson and other pro-life executive branch officials. Members of the General Assembly also spoke on the status of current pro-life bills in the House and Senate, including HB 126, which provides multiple provisions protecting the lives of the unborn and the health of women. Sue Thayer, current Director of Outreach for 40 Days for Life and former Planned Parenthood abortion clinic manager, provided the keynote. Bishop Shawn McKnight opened the rally with a reflection and prayer.
