Preparing for Flu Season

As we reach the end of summer and turn to fall, the flu season will soon be upon us. While the safety measures recommended for preventing COVID-19 (handwashing, covering coughs, staying home when sick) also help prevent influenza, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reminds us that the single best way to prevent the flu is to get a flu vaccine every year. The department has set up a website with valuable information to help you navigate flu season, including a link to a website that helps you find flu vaccines in your area. We hope these materials will help you and your family remain safe and healthy this flu season.
