Pope Francis Visits Record Shop

Pope Francis has left the Vatican for “normal” reasons a few times: to buy new glasses or shoes, for example. But this week, Pope Francis ventured out to congratulate the owners of a small record shop on their recent renovations.

Prior to being elected Pope, then-Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio used to be a regular visitor to “Stereosound,” a small record store near the Pantheon in Rome.

Pope Francis did not buy anything during his visit, but the owners gave him a classical music CD. To read the full story, click here.
