New Word on Fire Bible "A Cathedral in Print"

Word On Fire Bible

Word on Fire, the Catholic global media ministry founded by Bishop Robert Barron, has released its own Catholic Bible. The Bible is made of fine materials and is designed to appeal to the eye, as well as the heart and mind of its reader. Some even call it a "Cathedral in print".

The Word on Fire Bible is designed as an evangelical tool, meant for those who are reading the Bible for the first time, or who are looking for commentary along the way. Within the pages of the first volume, there are nearly 90,000 words of commentary from the greatest Catholic voices from the last two millenniums. "The Word on Fire Bible reads the Scriptures 'from the heart of the Church,' offering the most colorful and diverse range of commentators currently in print," the description reads.

Alongside the text, readers will gaze upon beautiful sacred art. The art featured in the first volume includes works easily recognized by most Catholics, like the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, as well as some lesser-known works.
