This week, Missouri is experiencing a summer heat wave that finds us sweltering in temperatures well above 100 degrees when considering the heat index. The heat index is the radiant temperature taking into consideration the humidity. In Mid-Missouri today, the temperature is expected to reach 97 with a heat index of 105-110.
