Missouri Legislative Session Gets Underway

New legislators were sworn in this week as the first session of the 100th Missouri General Assembly got underway. Around 800 bills have already been filed, and next week legislators will be assigned to their committees and hearings will begin to be scheduled. Governor Parson will deliver his State of the State address on Wednesday, setting out his legislative and budgetary priorities for the next fiscal year.
