The Miracle of Hiroshima

Fr. Hubert Schiffer

On August 6, 1945, eight Jesuit priests lived in a parish just a half mile from ground zero in Hiroshima.  In spite of experiencing the massive explosion and radiation that followed, they were unharmed and went on to live normal lives free from radiation sickness, or any ill effects.  You can read the account of one of the priests, Fr. Hubert Schiffer, here.  Fr. Schiffer attributed his survival and wellbeing to “living the message of Fatima and praying the rosary daily.”
