March for Life 2019: Unique from Day One

March For Life

Thousands of pro-life pilgrims will descend on Washington, D.C. today for the National March for Life. The March for Life is an annual event of peaceful protest of the Supreme Court's decision legalizing abortion in 1973. This year's theme is: "Unique from Day One: Pro-life is Pro-Science."  As science evolves, the reality of human development from conception becomes ever clearer. We, indeed, are unique from day one.

Missouri will be sending a significant delegation to the march and has been a leader in the pro-life movement from its inception. The Archdiocese of St. Louis, for example, was the first diocese in the country to establish a pro-life apostolate. They are sending as many as 50 buses full of young people to bear witness to the truth of human life in the womb. Pray for the safety of all pro-life pilgrims as they make the trip to the East coast. You can learn more about the March for Life here.
