Government Site Offers Free Covid Tests

Covid Tests Website

This week, the federal government launched a website where individuals can order free at-home tests for Covid-19. Each residential address is eligible to receive four tests total, regardless of household size and they will be shipped completely free of charge in an estimated seven to 12 days. The administration is buying 1 billion at-home rapid Covid-19 tests to distribute through the website to meet the future demand amid a surge in cases fueled by the Omicron variant.

Individuals can sign up for their tests by visiting covidtests.gov or by calling (281) 801-5285 in English or (281) 801-9590 in Spanish.
