Early Voting Underway in Missouri

Vote Sticker Fall

Missourians can now cast an absentee ballot in person without providing an excuse. New legislation allows anyone to vote absentee two weeks prior to an election. Those who request an absentee ballot by mail are still required to provide an excuse. Another change to Missouri’s voting laws is also in effect, requiring a government-issued photo ID to vote. Provisional ballots will be given to voters who do not present a valid ID, but provisional ballots are only available on Election Day, November 8.

For more information on absentee voting, visit the Secretary of State’s website.
