Christ's Birth Written in the Stars

Star Of Bethlehem

Have you ever wondered why the magi traveled to Jerusalem seeking the King of the Jews? The Gospels record that wise men arrived in Jerusalem stating, "we have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him." (Matthew 2:2) Who were they, and what did they see in the sky that convinced them to travel so far to worship a child?

Over a  decade ago, an attorney from South Carolina asked these very questions. He purchased software for his computer and began doing research to determine what the sky looked like around the time of Christ's birth, hoping to learn more about the star that led these men to make this journey. What he discovered is fascinating: astronomical proof of the timing of Christ's birth and death written in the stars in the sky! If you haven't watched the documentary of his work, take the time this Christmas to do so with your family.  You won't regret it.
