Tuesday, August 16, the Catholic Mobilizing Network and Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty are presenting a one-hour webinar on how Catholics can help in the efforts to end Missouri’s death penalty. Participants will hear from a variety of speakers, including Joe Amrine, who spent seventeen years on Missouri’s death row for a crime he did not commit, Bishop James Johnston, Bishop Shawn McKnight, and Bishop Mark Rivituso. The event will take place via Zoom and is co-sponsored by the Catholic Mobilizing Network, Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, the Archdiocese of St. Louis, the Diocese of Jefferson City, and the Missouri Catholic Conference.
