On Wednesday, January 22, Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski of the Archdiocese of St. Louis was introduced on the House Floor. Archbishop Rozanski was affectionately greeted by several Missouri Representatives and Senators as he walked the halls of the Capitol. He was able to sit and talk with Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman and Representative Mike McGirl.
In the afternoon, Archbishop Rozanski was joined by Bishop W. Shawn McKnight of the Diocese of Jefferson City. The bishops, staff from Catholic Charities St. Louis, and the Missouri Catholic Conference staff were warmly received by Governor Mike Kehoe.
